Opportunity Full-time position responsible for handling a variety of administrative duties.
 
Position responsibilities include answering a multi-line Microsoft Lync phone system, greeting and assisting visitors, performing daily office operations,  processing mail, filing, word processing of technical documents and business correspondence, proofreading, processing purchase orders, document coordination, assisting Project Managers with duties related to business development, proposal preparations, invoicing, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications Must be service oriented and be excited to work in a team environment. Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with employees, managers, internal and external clients.  Positive attitude and professional bearing.  The ability to monitor and prioritize work to meet demanding deadlines.  Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail.
 
1 to 2 years of administrative experience.  Associate’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
 
Preferred Qualifications include:
§  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) capability at a highly developed level. Specific to Microsoft Office Word, proficient with formatting technical documents, generating a table of contents, and organizing and publishing an entire document.
 
§  Knowledge of InDesign or other graphics and document publishing software expertise.
 
§  Background in preparing business correspondence, and formatting technical documents and proposals.
 
§  Knowledge of Microsoft Lync.
 
§  Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
 
§  Previous experience supporting multiple staff members.
 
§  Accounting training beyond the high school level or equivalent experience.
 
§  Familiarity with the civil engineering or comparable professional environment, practices, and procedures.
 
This position requires the ability to perform moderate physical work and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
 
Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
Salary $16 per hour - $20 per hour
