Ready to get your engineering career started on the right track?  Morrison-Maierle, Inc. has several exciting opportunities for an entry-level Civil Engineer/Construction Engineering Technology (CE/CET) intern to join our Bozeman, Montana office.

Opportunity:  Several temporary, part-time positions are available working out of the Bozeman office for the 2023 season (May into August, and possible Fall work if the intern wants to continue working) in the Airport, Development, Survey, and Water/Waste-Water Groups.  These positions will be under the direct supervision of project managers.  Training will be provided.
 
  1. Interns needed to work in Bozeman, Big Sky and surrounding areas in our Airport and Development Groups.  Tasks include but are not limited to: testing aggregate compaction with nuclear densometer, testing concrete, reading plans and specifications, infrastructure inspections, and daily reports.
 
Vehicle, and computer are provided. Cell phone stipend provided. A typical work week is 40-50 hours per week, paid overtime. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
 
Qualifications:
  • Seeking individuals pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent with positive attitude, professional bearing, team player, long-term vision and can-do attitude.
  • Interpersonal skills to meet and communicate effectively with engineers, owners and contractors.
  • Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, swing a hammer and walk several miles per day.
 
Salary: $20 – $24/hour
