Entry Level Structural Engineers
Opportunity These positions will work innovatively and collaboratively with the firm’s full-service Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Buildings Market Group, as well as with the Civil Engineering disciplines within Morrison-Maierle to create comfortable, healthy, energy efficient, sustainable, and productive spaces. Our team approach to buildings and structures promises to deliver final projects that are coordinated, cost-effective, sustainable solutions that will meet the needs of our clients for the long-term. 
 
Project Types: Design of new building and evaluation/renovation of existing buildings in the K-12 and Higher Education, Municipal/Government, Airport, Hospitality, Industrial, and Multi-Family Housing market sectors.
 
Responsibilities:  Perform technical structural analysis and calculations, assist preparation of construction documents, collaborate and coordinate with project design team members and clients, perform construction administration under the direction of Project Manager and Phase Managers in the execution of project related duties.
 
These positions will provide a rewarding opportunity for a person driven to exceed client and firm expectations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in structural engineering. Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering highly preferred.
 
0 to 4 years’ progressive structural engineering experience emphasizing in building design.  Engineer Intern certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
 
Experience with Revit/BIM and structural analysis software preferred.
 
Must be service oriented and excited to work in a team environment. Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with employees, managers, and clients. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Effective communications skills, both written and verbal.  Demonstrate analytical, problem solving, decision making, and follow through skills. Organizational skills and aptitude for detail.   
 
The position will require periodic travel.  Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
Salary $55,000 - $70,000
