Mechanical Engineers
Opportunity These positions will work innovatively and collaboratively with the firm’s full-service Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Buildings Market Group, as well as with the Civil Engineering disciplines within Morrison-Maierle to create comfortable, healthy, energy efficient, sustainable, and productive spaces. Our team approach to buildings and structures promises to deliver final projects that are coordinated, cost-effective, sustainable solutions that will meet the needs of our clients for the long-term. 
 
Project Types:  Airports, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Municipal, Healthcare, Government, Hospitality, and Mining.
 
Designing, planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of studies, investigations, and preparation of contract documents for HVAC and plumbing systems, energy studies/improvements, sustainable design elements and other components for buildings and facilities.  
 
Tasks may include load calculations, site inspections and punch lists, coordination of REVIT model / ceilings and backgrounds with architect, responses to Request For Information from the contractors, assembly and editing of construction specifications, drafting of as-built drawings for record, and design and construction meetings with owner’s, architects, and contractors. 
 
These positions will provide a rewarding opportunity for a person driven to exceed client and firm expectations. Duties will include working under the direction of the Project Manager and Phase Managers in the execution of project related duties.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
 
Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in Architectural Engineering industry.  Engineer Intern certification required. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
 
Experience with REVIT/BIM, AutoCAD, and LEED certification are a plus. 
 
Must be service oriented and excited to work in a team environment. Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with employees, managers, and clients. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Highly effective communications skills, both written and verbal.  Demonstrate analytical, problem solving, decision making, and follow through skills. Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail.   
 
The position will require periodic travel.  Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
Salary $62,000 - $85,000/year
