The CEO of the Gallatin Valley YMCA is responsible for establishing and implementing the mission, vision, goals, and values of the YMCA within the organization and the community.
The Successful Candidate Will Achieve Excellence in the Following Areas:
Implement the Strategic Plan
Stabilize Operating Performance and Ensure Sustainability Through Strong
Build and Lead the Staff
- Steward Fundraising Efforts
Minimum Criteria for Candidates:
Must possess a 4-year degree from an accredited college.
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal values
consistent with the YMCA mission.
Must have a minimum of five years prior experience in a senior management role with direct
supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees.
Proven ability to develop and strengthen community relationships.
Proven ability to develop new programs and experience in reviewing and enhancing current
programs to ensure that our program mix is evaluated for both economy and effectiveness
and broadens our engagement in the communities we serve.
Proven fiscal management skills and experience with budget oversight of at least
Must possess or have the ability to possess the YMCA Organizational Leader Certification.
(Candidates will have three years to complete certification requirements after hire).
Preferred Criteria for Candidates:
Experience with strategic planning and fundraising including annual community support campaign and grant writing.
Experience with capital planning and facility planning.
Proven ability to grow operating revenue, particularly in membership.
