We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join a locally-owned shop. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and mentoring a small team and will be detail-oriented, well-organized, have a passion for mentoring a team and providing excellent customer service to everyone walking in the door. This person must also be dedicated and have a desire to always improve customer experience.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations
- Conduct interviews and hire new employees to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff to enhance their individual skills and foster teamwork
- Monitor inventory and order product as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulations and complete and monitor necessary reports
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Proven experience supervising staff in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
